| Old Bridge at Chandrabhaga Lake, Pul Doda |
Chandrabhaga (Combination of Chandra and Bhaga River) known as Chenab River which stops it’s pressure flow at Pul Doda of Doda due to the Baghlihar Dam at Chanderkoot. As there the river water is stagnant, it can be considered as a lake. It just need some modification to developed into a proper lake as we have already gave an idea about the “Chandrabhaga Lake” .
It will be the benificial Lake. We have already discussed many benefits of this lake like commercial benefits, tourism etc. But it is more beneficial, as you hear many cases like suicides , accidents in the river Chenab. If there is a proper lake, then there will be rescuers available every time whether it will from any NGO or the persons who businesses near the lake.
We are taking this step of writing articles, posting videos and pictures about the “Chandrabhaga Lake” . This can’t be successful until everyone support us in this. If you also think this is good for Chenab valley instead of negative thinking that it never be done, kindly do a single step.
