Sand Point (Raitood in local language) near Sheva Dal Bridge at Mahalla (Saraaz), Doda.
This sand is transferred from this place to its opposite via cranes boxes which move above the river Chenab with gear modified engine. After crossing box of sand, it is sold to contractors via Tippers, Trucks, Tractors etc.
The sand naturally re-collected at this “Raitood” when the level of river Chenab rise above it.
