The warning got through a video in which a man, maybe an area commander, can be heard talking in Kashmiri language. As a composition of pictures of Jammu and Kashmir police plays, the voice asks the work drive – paramilitary or local police – to introduce their renunciations within four days.

“Post your resignation letter on the web or face the results,” the local head of Umar Majeed gathering, a branch of Hizbul Mujahideen, is heard saying.
Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbagh Singh, who declined to remark on the threat, said they are making required steps.
