10 BOVINE ANIMALS RESCUED & 03 BOVINE SMUGGLERS ARRESTED BY RAMBAN POLICE.
In continuation to its special drive launched by Ramban Police to check the social crimes today, on the directions of SSP Ramban Ms Anita Sharma KPS, a police party led by SHO Ramban Insp Vijay Kotwal under the supervision of DYSP HQ Ramban Asgar Malik KPS & under close supervision of Adll SP Sh Sanjay Parihar KPS laid a surprise naka near Shan palace, Ramban. During checking of vehicles, 02 Tata mobiles bearing reg nos. Jk 02BU/ 6102 & Jk 20A/3489 were signalled to stop for checking and on search of the above said vehicles both were found loaded with bovine animals which were being illegally transported towards Kashmir.

10 bovine animals have been rescued & 03 suspected bovine smugglers namely 01)Mohd Rashid S/O Mohd Shafi R/O Jhajer kotli Jammu, 02)Mohd Irfan S/O Noor Hussain R/O Chanderkote and 03)Mohd Rakha S/O Saif Ali R/O Rajpora Akhnoor Jammu have been taken into custody. Moreover, both the vehicles have been seized. In this regard case FIR No. 145/2018 & 146/2018 U/S 188RPC, 3 PC Act stand registered at Police Station Ramban and investigation taken up.
