The Police Commemoration Day was celebrated at District Police Lines Doda in the memory of Martyrs, who have scarified their lives for the peace and tranquility of nation. The programme was witnessed by the NoKs of Police martyrs and other Officers of Police/Paramilitary /Civil Administration. The contingents of CRPF 76th Bn / IRP 5th Bn and District Police Doda participated in the commemoration day parade.

A rich floral tribute was offered for the eternal peace of the Martyrs by SSP Doda Shabir Ahmed and DC Doda Anshul Garg other dignitaries and beloved of Martyrs. The names of Martyrs of last one year were read by SSP Doda and rich tributes was paid to all Martyrs.
After commemoration Day parade tea was served and a interaction session was held with the family members of Martyrs in order to familiarize them about the schemes, which have been launched by the Government for the welfare of NoKs of Martyrs. Also addressed their grievances pertaining to Police, Civil and other departments. They were assured that District Police Doda is always standing with them shoulder to shoulder and eager to help the NoKs of Police Martyrs.
Deputy Commissioner Doda Anshul Garg IAS, SP Ops R.P Singh, ASP Bhaderwah Rajinder Kumar, DySP Hqrs Doda Iftkhar Ahmed, DySP DAR DPL Doda Mansoor Ayaz, SHO Doda Sunil Kumar, CRPF and SSB officer, Civil officer, large number pf respectable family members of Martyers were also present on the occasion.
