Yesterday on Friday, a video went viral on social media in which ASI Abdul Subhan of police Station Kishtwar was found demanding and accepting bribe from some persons within the premises of police station kishtwar. Taking serious cognizance of the matter, a case FIR No 38/2020 under section 161 IPC and section 7 of Prevention of corruption Act has been registered against the erring officer at police station Kishtwar and investigation set into motion.The officer has been formally arrested in the case. Moreover, tainted officer has been placed under suspension and a departmental enquiry has also been initiated against him.
