A video went viral yesterday, reached to us, in which MP Jugal Kishore from Jammu was giving speech on LSTV on 18-03-2020. He claimed that it takes 7 hours from Jammu to Kishtwar, while the route is of only 4-5 hours. He also claims that the fare is affordable for the poor people whereas the fare is more than Rs. 4000 and the bus fare is Rs. 300. Now you can decide the poor can afford or not.
And the condition of National Highway 244 is the worst, if we see the Doda-Kishtwar route where hundreds of lives lost due to worst condition of road in past decade. Instead of working on Highway, they are showing the service which is only in words not benefiting at ground level.
