Reports of undue police harassment to public and even, essential service providers, District Doda administration failed to issue suitable directions

Post announcement of country wide lockdown by Prime Minister, people was not prepared for this lockdown, amide this chous and confusion people couldn’t even manage to purchase essential commodities, resulted to huge inconvenience to the poor people living in different parts of the district, Doda.

On papers administration is showing satisfaction but unfortunately ground reality is opposite to it, people are facing acute shortage of essential commodities, Unfortunatly government is unmoved to provide them door step assistance, besides circulating order after order on social media.

Jailing people without essential commodities isn’t going to work, even many essential service providers employees especially working in food and civil supply complianed that police isn’t accepting their service ID cards as passes and even being told by police men that it doesn’t matter for them weather you are essential service providers or non essential, it speak the volume about loophole of district administration, as the failed to issue passes to employees, and also failed to control the behavior of police.

District administration should issue proper passes to the employees who are working to provide essential services, besides this administration must pass an order to rude and un-ethical men in Khaki’s to behave well with the public, they must acknowledge they are Public servent and their Ultimate aim is to provide hassle free services to the public not to beat and harrase public, in the name of lockdown.(CT)
