COVID Fighters Safai Karamcharis demands increase of wages
As we all know that, this present epidemic forced us to stay home, to stay safe but our medical workers, Police and special the Safai Karamcharis which are working on casual basis to sanitize our streets and areas. These casual labourers are the fighters who fights against this coronavirus.
Speaking to The Chenab Times, Showket Hussain District Vice President Akhil Bhartiya Safai Karamchari Sangh said, “We actually work on casual basis and we labourers do part time labourer side wise to run our family needs but due to this lockdown, we stand to fight here for full time.”
“We demand extra one month wages, and as announced in some news increase our wages also, because we can’t afford our household need in limited wages,” he added.
