Impact: Free Ration now distributed in Palaran; remaining being distributed in Thathri tehsil

As reported by Abrar Butt on The Chenab Times 3 days ago, residents of village Palaran in District Doda demands essential commodities.
Food Department inquired the matter next day after report on The Chenab Times, and in the enquiry, residents of said village didn’t got the free ration. And on next day, the free ration distribution started in the same village.
Speaking to the TSO Office Thathri officials, it is understood that Free Ration has been completely lifted from 18 April and more than 50% of free ration has been distributed. And the remaining is being distributed.
The free ration is being distributed to BPL and AAY beneficiaries.
Besides this, the other essential facilities like medicines etc is still away from the same village.
