Common casualties, pregnancy cases, emergencies are carried in same Ambulances

Thathri, May 4: While prevailing situation due to pandemic, the lockdown 3.0 has been imposed in India. Many stranded labourers are being evacuated to their native areas.

In this report, labourers Quarantined in Thathri are carried for sampling to Doda in the Ambulances provided by Thathri Hospital. Same Ambulances are used for local cases like pregnancy, critical etc to refer them to DH Doda.

If a single labourer would be infected, it will transmit the infections to others, while using ambulances it can be transmitted to locals. Due to this, local people’s lives are at risk.

While speaking to DC Doda on his visit to this Quarantine centre, he said, "In some days, We will hire SRTC Bus for the Quarantine labourers, which will be used for carrying only for Quarantined labourers for Sampling etc."(TCT)
