Ashok Demands Immediate Repair Of Ramban College Link Road

Ashok Kumar Former Legislature, Ramban on the spot visited Ramban Degree College and strongly urged upon the Chief Engineer Road & Building (R&B) to immediately repair the link road connecting NH-44 to Ramban Degree College at Karol (Ramban). In a statement issued here, “ He said that the broader two lane link road which connects to college on the top of hill was completed only after striving hard before UPA-II government at the centre. UPA-II Government respond quickly and with an estimated cost of 1.5 Crore the link road was completed. However, since last few years the link road has been completely damaged by the GAMMON and Sublet Contractors in the process of construction of Four Lane NH-44. It is great loss of Government money and assets”.

Ashok said that the rest of the stretch of link road is filled with debris where even the tress and bushes have grown. The R&B Road & Buildings department have not pay any heed towards the dilapidated condition of the link roads. It is a great injustice to the students of college who are the future of our country. Moreover, the pacca footpath towards the college have also been damaged by Gammon company.

Ashok has stressed upon all the concerned authorities to repair and restore the link road of Ramban Degree college along with Blacktopping on war foot. He also demanded for repairing of pacca foot path which connects NH44 to College. Ashok has also demanded for road lights from NH-44 Krol to Degree College Ramban.
