On the directions of PHQ and SSP Poonch Sh. Ramesh Angral-JKPS, Mendhar police organised a debate competition on 23.10.2020 in Govt. Hr. Sec. School Harni on topic “Role of police in the National building” to pay homage to martyrs of police. In this debate 12 students of different schools have been participated. The programme was presided over by SDPO Mendhar Zaheer Abass Jafri while ZEO Harni was the chief guest
Later on, an impressive function was also organised at Govt. High School Sarhooti where locals, students and family of martyrs have participated. In this function SDPO Mendhar highlights the role of police force in maintaining law and order, to prevent crimes in the society and to provide security to the citizens. The participants lauded the role of police in present times to solve many problems of the public.
