Today on 29.10.2020, on the directions of PHQ & SSP Poonch Sh. Ramesh Angral-JKPS, Mendhar Police
Organized a debate competition on the theme ” *The role of Police in Nation Building”* in GDC Mendhar in which students from GDC Mendhar took part and spoken out on the topic with full enthusiasm.
The speakers while speaking on the theme highlighted the role of police for rendering best services especially in curbing the social crime from the society and maintaining law & order.
The function was presided over by the Principal Govt. Degree College Mendhar Sh. Dalip Raina while as the Sub Divisional Magistrate Sh. Sahil Jandyal was the chief guest of the function.
Dr. Bagh Hussain, Dr. Shafeeq & Prof. Showkit Ahmed, HoDs were nominated as jury members who after hearing patiently to the speakers, adjudged and declared Humera Hashmi, student of 6th semester, Vishnu Sharma student of 6th semester & Rahul Kumar student of 3rd semester as 1st, 2nd & 3rd position holders.
The SDM Mendhar as well as Principal GDC Mendhar and SDPO Mendhar distributed the trophies/ certificates among the participants.
