Meet Aasef Wani who hails from Sopore, having a good artistic stand. Five years back, he took his hand and raised his brush. He is looking forward in future to become a well known artist.
Aasef said, “I am an entrepreneur as well as fashion designer too, but in my veins there run’s the artistic blood.”
In an interaction with Chenab Times correspondent Burhan Hussainii, Aasef shared that It’s the question of every artists, better to say, conundrum! Philosophers, writers, intellects; shape it according to their own wit. Art is a riddle to an artist too. Art is the desert, where the hope hopes and an artist is the one who lives for others and revives their hope. Artist never lives his life, he parts himself for the togetherness of the society.
Further he said that, Everyone is an artist here, one need’s to search it in him or herself but when we don’t pay heed to the ability within us, we murder the artists in ourselves.
Being an artist involves wearing all sorts of masks, just like any other job, but the difference is we have the lingering responsibility to unearth the truth of things. Sometimes we will seem vulnerable, sometimes we will make mistakes. But the main thing is not to give up, Aasef said.
