He appealed the youths to Participate in elections to showcase their talents so that illiteracy, unemployment, familialism, and other evils can be eradicated.

Responding to a question, he said that the Gupkar Declaration was just a sham and had nothing to do with mutual alliance, and that those who chanted slogans of unity after the District Development Council elections were to over join hands.

Syed Asghar Ali said that it was his first duty to struggle for employment to the local youth in the power projects set up in Kishtwar district and to create employment opportunities in other sectors.

Replying to further questions, he said that restoration of statehood of Jammu and Kashmir and formulation of policy keeping in view the interests of the people of both the provinces was among the top priorities of his party.

Sending a message to the people, Syed Asghar Ali said that people should exercise their voting right by voting for the most suitable representatives in the upcoming District Development Council elections, keeping religion, caste and social prejudices at bay.
