Medical camp was organised under Civic Action Programme with immense zeal and zest by the 168 Bn BSF at HIGHER Secondary School, Village ACHHAD in the presence of Sh. I D Singh DIG SHQ RJR and Shri Pradeep Singh, Commandant 168 BN BSF.
All brave soldiers of The Royal 168 Battalion BSF organised the event, in which Dr. Md. Shahrukh Niaz Khan, MO, PHC Mankote, Dr Santosh Chavan, BSF, Dr.Prajakta chavan, Dr.Mehtab Anjum provided medical cover to the civil population of bordering area near Achhad.
A total number of 553 patients including 201 Male, 243 female and 109 Children were examined by the specialist doctors and given due medical treatment. During the event, Shri I D SINGH DIG SHQ RJR expressed his concern about need of improvement in providing medical facilities to the bordering population and also briefed the gathering to take care of their health by nurturing good eating habits and making physical exercise as regular part of their routine.
A friendly volleyball match was also organized during the event between Village Achhad and Mankote(Viklage) which was won by Achhad 2-0.
In order to facilitate the participants of this medical camp, various facilities like refreshment and canteen were made available for the public. Patriotic songs were also played throughout the event to bring about a feel of enthusiasm and motivation among the civil population.
