MENDHAR GUNNERS ORGANISE EKTA COMMITTEE MEET

Mendhar town has always symbolized itself as a true example of ‘Unity in Diversity’. To promote the spirit of brotherhood & harmony not only among various religions, but also between the locals, civil administration and the Indian Army, Mendhar Ekta Committee Meet was organized by Mendhar Gunners. The meet was presided over by Bhimber Gali Station Commander & was attended by prominent personalities of civil administration as well as locals.

Addressing the members, Bhimber Gali Station Commander expressed his happiness and gratitude for getting an opportunity to meet the members. He also stated that he has been associated with Mendhar town in the past as well during his previous tenures. The members also thanked the Station Commander as well as Mendhar Garrison Commander for the first Ekta Meet post lifting of restrictions due to COVID-19. The members reiterated their solidarity as well as gratitude for the Indian Army. They also said that Mendhar town has always been a symbol of unity and will continue to be so in future as well.

A number of members requested for improving the speed of development projects and also for undertaking fresh projects for the welfare of civil population. Bhimber Gali Station Commander assured them of all possible support from the Army in coordination with civil administration. The Station Commander also appreciated the efforts of civil administration for implementation of various infrastructure projects and asked them to continue with the good work. Finally the Ekta committee resolved to always work in close coordination for ensuring religious harmony and development in the region.
