The POCSO Court in the capital Patna has sentenced Arvind Kumar, the director and principal of the private school, to be hanged for raping an innocent student. The court has also ordered to pay a fine of 1 lakh in its order, along with the school’s Abhishek Kumar has been sentenced to life imprisonment and 50 thousand.
The incident of rape was carried out on 18 November 2018 with a student of 5th Grade of New Central Public School of Mitra Mandal Colony in Phulwarisharif area of Patna. The accused in this case was Arvind Kumar (School principal) and Abhishek Kumar (teacher). School teacher Abhishek Kumar used to send the student to Principal Arvind Kumar on the pretext of checking the copy in the school. During this time the principal used to do shameful action with her in the room.
It is alleged that teacher Abhishek also supported him. A case under the POSCO Act was registered against the two accused living in Phulwarisharif, Patna. The girl became pregnant after the rape. After the court order, the girl’s womb was dropped, along with the court’s order, DNA test of both the accused and the student was also done. The DNA of the three matched with each other, proving the charge against the principal and the teacher.
