Councilor Ward No. 5 in Thathri Municipality of Doda district and Senior Congress Leader Nek Alam Butt passes away due to prolong illness in GMC Doda.
A spokesperson told that he was the senior Congress leader Nek Alam who was elected councilor of ward number 5 in Thathri Municipality passed away at the age of 60 due to prolong illness.
Congress Block President Thathri Asgar Khanday, Block Gen. Secretary Mushtaq Ahmed, Congress leader Altaf Hussain, Parvez Ahmed and various other political and social leaders expressed condolences on the demise of senior leader.
Sub Divisional Magistrate Thathri Athar Amin Zargar also express condolences and said, “He was good personality in the Thathri town. May Almighty reward him highest place in heaven and give strength to his family.”
His funeral will be performed at 9 pm at Thathri town.
