‘Says collation of BJP-Congress in Municipality is the main reason’
A major setback to Congress party in Chenab Valley as Congress Block President Thathri and Municipal Committee Thathri Councilor Ward No. 2 Asgar Hussain Khanday joins Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party alongwith Block General Secretary Mushtaq Ahmed and some others workers including Javed Ahmed (Ex Naib Sarpanch Thathri B), Nazir Ahmed, Ashiq Hussain and Javed Iqbal in Thathri tehsil of Doda district.
As per details available, a virtual meeting was organised by Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party President Syed Altaf Ahmed Bhukhari and provincial vice president Syed Asgar Ali and Adv Zulkernain Sheikh with Congress Block President Thathri Asgar Hussain Khanday, Block General Secretary Mushtaq Ahmed and some others workers including Javed Ahmed (Ex Naib Sarpanch Thathri B), Nazir Ahmed, Ashiq Hussain and Javed Iqbal.
Speaking on the occesion Advocate Zulkernain Sheikh said that due to the hypocrisy of Congress leadership particularly with regard to Thathri because the senior leadership of congress block Thathri have refused to surrender to the dictatorial attitude of Congress leadership in Thathri and have joined Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party which is hope for the hopless and helping hand for people of Jammu and Kashmir.
While Asgar Khanday said, “We were trying to save the ideology of old Congress which meant for helping public as in Thathri, almost from past two months here is collation between BJP and Congress in the Municipality which is highly objectionable as per Congress ideology but leadership of Congress becoming hypocrite and betraying people of Thathri.”
