Kashmir: Woman commits suicide by jumping into river Sindh in Ganderbal

A 36-year-old woman committed suicide by jumping into river Sindh in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Saturday.

According to CT, an official told that locals attempted to save the lady shortly after she jumped into the Sindh River, but were unsuccessful.

“Her body was retrieved after some hours and was then transferred to SDH Kangan for postmortem,” he added as per news agency KNO.

He stated that a case had been filed in this regard, and that additional investigation had begun.
