‘Man hiding inside generator room of SOG camp, SSP Awantipora persuading him to surrender’
On Wednesday, a man in custody at SOG camp Tral grabbed a gun from a cop and shot him, then hid in the generator room of the camp.
According to the CT news sources, the man was apprehended by police for questioning, but he took a rifle from the officer and shot him today.
He claimed that the individual was hiding in the SOG camp’s generator room when the police were attempting to persuade him to surrender.
According to the top official, SSP Awantipora was attempting to force him to surrender, but there was no hostage scenario because no additional officers were there.
