‘He was given two PSOs, as well as safe hotel accommodations in Sgr’
Soon after being shot dead by unknown shooters, the killed BJP politician and Municipal Committee Tral Chairman Rakesh Pandita was given two PSOs and a guarded hotel room in Srinagar, but he travelled to Tral without them, according to Jammu and Kashmir Police.
“Militants shot dead one councillor namely Rakesh Pandita in #Tral,” police tweeted, according to Chenab Times. Despite being furnished with two PSOs and hotel accommodations in Srinagar, the councillor travelled to Tral without them. The area has been sealed off and a search is underway.”
On Wednesday evening, a BJP official was killed and another party colleague was injured in an incident in the Tral area of Pulwama district.
