Within two hours, Kishtwar Police had recovered a juvenile kidnapped girl and apprehended the suspects involved in the incident.
Bipan Lal S/O Dev Raj Sharma R/O Thathri A/P Hatta Kishtwar filed a complaint with PS Kishtwar on June 10, 2021, alleging that his daughter had been kidnapped by one Ankush Adwan and an unknown person.
As a result, a case was filed at PS Kishtwar under FIR No.130/2021 under relevant parts of legislation, and an inquiry was launched.
A special team led by SHO PS Kishtwar Insp Abid Bukhari was formed by SSP Kishtwar. By acting quickly, the team was able to recover the kidnapped girl within two hours and apprehend the suspect in Kishtwar’s Shalimar neighbourhood.
Ankush S/0 Antesh Kumar R/0 Narwal Jammu and Gagandeep Singh S/0 Gurcharan Singh R/0 Talab Tillo Jammu are the accused.
The girl was turned over to her rightful heirs after completing all medico-legal processes.
