After Doda’s Chiralla minor rape, now in Kishtwar, a 13-yrs-old minor girl allegedly raped, according to Police.
Police arrested Kamran Najjar from Kishtwar after receiving a complaint from a person alleging that his minor daughter (name withheld) was allegedly raped.
The accused is being held in police custody, and a case FIR 137/2021 has been filed in Police Station Kishtwar under Sections 376/IPC and 4 POCSO Act. As a result, an investigation has been launched.
SSP Kishtwar Sh. Shafqat Hussain Batt-JKPS formed a special team under the supervision of Addl. SP Kishtwar Sh. Rajinder Singh, led by Dy.SP Devindar Singh Bandral, and assisted by Insp Abid Bukhari SHO PS Kishtwar during the investigation, according to the police. The investigating team acted quickly after discovering substance in the complaint and arrested the accused person involved in the heinous crime. The matter is currently being investigated further.

While requesting the people, SSP Kishtwar, Shafqat Hussain Batt said, “We assure the community members that our efforts to curb social crimes will continue.”
