Young generation is the future of nation and a school educates children, the principles of life and secure their future. But unfortunately, majority of the schools in Chenab valley of Jammu and Kashmir (union territory) are suffering with the defunct system. In a similar case, a Govt Primary School in Shorla village of Panchayat Gundow in Zone Bhatyas (Doda district) is at worst ever condition.
While speaking to Chenab Times, a local resident told, “The condition of school building is worst and no one from administration ever consider priority to check this.”
“This is kind of joke with the future of children,” he added.
The school building from outer side looks like a shed or a ruin. Assume, how much students of this school have to suffer to enter this shed or ruin (actually School). “The administrative officer who pass through this building never questioned the concerned officer that why this school is in this condition,” another local said.
“Administration should look into this building and secure the future of our children,” he asserted.
The interior condition of these rooms shows the incapability of the education department, where students of this school study. This room looks like a stable. The difference is that in this stable, it is used to study for students instead of for resting horses.
“A student without proper infrastructure in this modern world can’t stand in future and can’t compete with students on state or national level,” a young youth says.
Various other locals talked to Chenab Times and have requested administration and concerned department to look into this building and repair it as soon as possible, so that the future of their children will also be secured.
