In the grenade attack in Baramulla, four civilians and four CRPF personnel were injured.
On Friday afternoon, suspected militants launched a grenade attack in the Khanpora area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, injuring a civilian and four CRPF personnel.
Four CRPF personnel, including an ASI rank officer, were injured after suspected militants lobbed a grenade at security forces in the Khanpora area, according to a senior police official.
According to him, a civilian was also injured in the attack. He said the injured were rushed to a nearby medical facility for treatment.
ASI Kisku, constable Dayananad Kumar, Kamlesh Singh, and Gautam Mandal were among the CRPF personnel injured, according to him.
According to the official, the area was cordoned off shortly after the attack in order to apprehend the perpetrators.
