Two people were killed and one was critically injured when their car collided head-on with a truck within the Chenani-Nashri Tunnel in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban region.
“Two people were killed and one was injured within the Chenani-Nashri tunnel after their Jammu-bound car crashed head-on with a Srinagar-bound truck,” police said.
They claimed that the truck driver attempted to run but was apprehended.
Gulam Mohammad Ganai and Gulzar Lone of Khansahib, District Budgam, were identified as the deceased.
Showket Ahmad Bhat of Kheer Bhawani, Ganderbal, was injured and was taken to the hospital.
