The 168 Bn BSF organised a half marathon to commemorate India’s 75th anniversary of independence (Aazadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav) from Tac HQ Achhad to Village Mankote and back, covering approximately 24 kilometres. In the presence of Shri Pradeep Singh, Commandant, 168 Bn BSF, 05 Officers, 18 Subordinate Officers, and 62 Other Ranks (Total-85 Pers) of this unit participated with fervour and zest in this function. In this regard, banners/logos commemorating the 75th Anniversary of India’s Independence were put on cars throughout the event to raise awareness and promote the event, as well as media coverage by local journalists.
At the conclusion of the event, Commandant Shri Pradeep Singh voiced his worry about the importance of physical fitness, health, and hygiene, and advised the audience to take care of their health by cultivating excellent eating habits and engaging in physical activity on a regular basis.
Various amenities, such as refreshment and a canteen, were made available to help the event’s participants. Patriotic songs were also played throughout the event to instil a sense of excitement and inspiration among the general public.
