In continuation of strengthening action against the sale of illicit liquor, police in Kishtwar recovered 12 liters of Desi liquor in the Rahal area of Mughalmaidan.
The police party from Mughalmaidan developed information about the selling and purchasing of Desi liquor to the youth of Rahal. Acting swiftly, the police party led by Incharge Police Post Mughalmaidan PSI Imran Khan laid a special naka in the Rahal area of Mughalmaidan, as per details available with The Chenab Times. He and his team intercepted two people and recovered 12 litres of Desi illicit liquor. The arrested persons were identified as Anoop Kumar, son of Dewan Chand, resident of Dajjy Khandrol, and Ranjeet Kumar, son of Prem Nath, resident of Khandrol, tehsil Mughalmaidan.
In this regard, FIR No. 56/2021 under section 48 (a) Excise Act has been registered at PS Chatroo, and an investigation has begun.
