On Friday, militants lobbed a grenade at security troops in the Chanapora region of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district, injuring a paramilitary trooper of the Central Reserve Police Force and a woman.
Militants lobbed a grenade into CRPF BN 29 in Chanapora, according to a senior police officer who confirmed the incident to Kashmir-based news agency GNS. A CRPF trooper and a civilian (Lady) were both injured by splinters in this event.
Meanwhile, the entire area has been cordoned off in order to apprehend the attackers. Details are still being uncovered.
