Six more employees have been sacked by the government due to alleged militant ties, including serving as overground workers for militant groups.
According to them, two constables, as many teachers, a senior officer of the forest department, and an employee of the R&B department were among those fired.
Official sources told Kashmir-based news agency GNS that two of individuals expelled from service are from Kishtwar district, and one each from Anantnag, Baramulla, Poonch, and Budgam districts.
After a designated committee in J&K created to investigate and recommend instances under Article 311(2)(c) of the Indian Constitution recommended their removal from government service due to militant ties, the government issued the decision.
The administration had fired at least eleven employees earlier this year over similar charges.
