Mendhar: Mendhar Gunners under the aegis of the White Knight Corps conducted a ‘Volleyball match’ at Mendhar for girls of remote area. The aim of the tournament was to motivate young girls to take up sports as a profession and to inculcate the value of sportsmanship. The match was played between GDC and GHSS Mendhar . The players displayed their sporting skills and gave pitched fight for each and every point. GHSS Mendhar won the match with great efforts. Winner and Runner up teams were awarded by the commanding officer of Mendhar Gunners at the end. Mendhar Gunners has also organised an National Defence Academy motivational movie to all girls participants to motivate and guide them to join one of the best military training academy. After watching the motivational movie all of them were feeling very enthusiastic and also promised to join Armed forces and serve the Nation with proud. The girls participants expressed their gratitude to Mendhar gunners in promoting sports and carrer opportunities lecture and motivational movies in the remote area of LOC.
