An unknown person attacked a girl with acid in the Kral Check region of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday, officials said.
The news agency KNO stated that an unknown person attacked the girl (name withheld) of Kral Check Keller with acid today afternoon, citing official sources.
According to them, the girl was injured on her left shoulder in the incident and was taken to a neighbouring hospital for treatment before being transferred to the SMHS hospital.
Meanwhile, a police officer confirmed the incident, saying that they had arrived on the scene and had filed a report, while additional investigation was underway.
It’s worth noting that this is one of the valley’s unusual incidences.
