On Wednesday, two youth were injured in an acid attack by unknown person near a bus stop in Poonch district.
According to police sources, Zulfikar Ahmed (22) son of Manzoor Ahmed and Sajad Ahmed (19) son of Mohammad Rashid, both inhabitants of Bedar Mandi Poonch, were attacked with acid near the Bus Stand’s bathrooms, causing injuries. Both of them were rushed to the Poonch district hospital for treatment.
The acid attack was confirmed by a police spokesman. “A case has been filed, and additional investigations are being conducted,” the official stated.
