Senior Legal Advisor The Chenab Times and renowned Social activist Advocate Mohd Majid Malik who is spearheading the movement of creation of Bhaderwah Distt is likely to hold a symbolic protest at Jantar Mantar in the month of January 2022 for the demand of Bhaderwah District. I along with likeminded people, will go to Jantar Mantar in New Delhi and sit on day long Dharna for the demand of creation of Bhaderwah Distt before delimitation keeping in view the merit of the area which is ignored by previous regimes,” Adv Mohd Majid Malik said, adding that the purpose of peaceful Dharna and protest is only to highlight Bhaderwah area various issues.
He also said that he had high hope from Union Govt for justice to Bhaderwah which is discriminated from the last 70 years and informed that he will also try to submit memorandum related to various issues of Bhaderwah which included full fledge university in Bhaderwah, construction of Chattargalla tunnel, official opening of Bhaderwah Chamba and Bani road to concerned authorities for redressal .
