We’re moving towards new world order after Covid pandemic: PM Modi in Parliament

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in his reply to the debate on the Motion of Thanks to the President’s address in the Lok Sabha on Monday that India is being recognised as a global leader post-Covid.

Following the Covid pandemic, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that “we are moving towards a new world.”

PM Modi said the country is celebrating 75 years of independence in his speech to the Lok Sabha on the Motion of Thanks to the President.

“History bears witness to the fact that the world changed dramatically after World War II, ushering in a new world order in which we now live.” After the Covid-19 pandemic, it is clear to me that the world is rapidly moving toward a new world order.

“This is a turning point, and as a nation, we must seize this opportunity,” Prime Minister Modi said.

The Prime Minister said the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav has presented an opportunity to inspire the country.

He added, “India’s voice should be bold at the main table. India should not sell itself short and believe that it can take up a leadership role. In this context, Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav is an opportunity to inspire the nation.”

“We are entering an Amrit era,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi said.

PM Modi thanked all Members of Parliament who participated in the debate on the President’s Motion of Thanks during his speech.

He also remembered Lata Mangeshkar, who died a day later in Mumbai at the age of 92. “Yesterday, the country lost Lata ji. For decades, her voice has inspired and entertained the nation “Prime Minister Modi stated.

President Ram Nath Kovind addressed the joint session of Parliament on January 31, kicking off the 2022 Budget Session.

The president stated in his speech that the inflow of 48 billion dollars in investment in the first seven months of the current fiscal year reflected the global investor community’s belief in India’s success story.

The first part of the budget session runs from the 31st of January to the 11th of February, and the second part runs from the 14th of March to the 8th of April.
