Kishtwar Police, as part of its ongoing efforts to eradicate the drug menace from society, arrested another drug peddler today in Dachhan’s Danrashi Tandar area and recovered Cannabis (Charas) from his possession.
PS Dachhan’s Police Party led by Insp Vikram Parihar, SHO PS Dachhan, and overseen by SDPO Marwah Sh. Ashish Gupta. During routine patrolling and Naka Checking at Danrashi Tandar Dachhan noticed a suspicious movement of a padesterian and asked him to halt, while his personal check cannabis (Charas) weighing approximately 25 g was recovered from his possession. The accused was taken into custody and arrested right away.
Ashiq Hussain S/o Ghulam Hassan R/o Thachna Dachhan has been named as the accused.
In this case, FIR No. 06/2022 has been filed at PS Dachhan under relevant sections of the NDPS Act, and an investigation has begun.
