Socio-political activist and Aam Admi Party leader from Surankote, Saleem Choudhary, has been appointed as IT head for district Poonch.
Party headquarters handed this responsibility to him by examining his past roles for the upliftment of the party. It is pertinent to mention Saleem joined AAP as first party after his activism career.
Who is Saleem Choudhary?
Hailing from Surankote area of Poonch, 28-yr-old Saleem Choudhary is a cybercrime analyst and socio-political activist from the far-flung area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district. In an exclusive conversation with The Chenab Times, Saleem Choudhary says, “For years, we’ve noticed that people continue to post inappropriate content on their social network accounts in order to gain phoney notoriety. On the other side, the anti-peace elements of society have a source of incentive. As a result, we’ve come up with the notion of launching an endeavour to shut down these accounts and take the required measures. This kind of mass reporting typically results in the account being suspended. We also submit accounts to the Cyber Crime Cell when Facebook or Instagram take no action against them and the posts are violent or particularly abusive.”
The said group was formed to combat social media accounts and posts that incite animosity among Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, and Christians. Due to Saleem’s rising career pursuits, the group is currently dormant.
