A viral video showing a giant snake with a text tag on the video as “pul Doda ganpat” is circulating on WhatsApp and claims that this video is from the Pul Doda Ganpat area of Doda district.
This video is viral in local WhatsApp groups without many details.
After talking with forest officials, they said this video might be fake. Later, The Chenab Times found a tweet with the same video and text posted on the 9th of April by Aaj Tak journalist Mohammad Suffian with caption, “A Giant snake of 25 -30 ft was spotted while crossing the main road at Khatiguda area of Odisha’s Nabrangpur District on Friday Night.”
This clears that the video is not from Pul Doda of Doda district. So the viral video claiming to be from Pul Doda Ganpat is fake.
