Ghulam Nabi Azad resigns from chairmanship of newly constituted JKPCC Camapign Committee, sources told The Chenab Times.
Hours after being named chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Congress campaign committee, Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad resign on Tuesday.
According to the sources, Ghulam Nabi Azad declined to assume the new responsibilities due to health issues.
On Tuesday, a brand-new campaign committee for Congress was established. The PCC president and working president are permanent invitees to the campaign committee, which is made up of 11 leaders.
While G M Saroori appointed as convenor, Tariq Hamid Karra was appointed vice chairman of the campaign committee.
