Former minister Vikar Rasool Wani was named as the new president of the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee by the All India Congress Committee (AICC) on Tuesday (JKPCC).
Raman Bhalla has been named the party’s working president, and Vikar Rasool Wani has been named the new JKPCC president.
The announcement was made following the AICC’s acceptance of Ghulam Ahmad Mir’s resignation, which he submitted on July 6, 2022, after eight years as the president of the JKPCC.
