The Vice Chancellor of Jammu University Prof. (Dr.) Omesh Rai released a book titled “Corporate Governance: Legal Framework and Policies” yesterday at Jammu which is authored by Advocate Sachin Sharma who hails from village Barshalla of Tehsil Thathri and is presently practising at the Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court. The book is based on extensive research on the topic of corporate governance and edited by Sachin Sharma alongwith the Ph.D. research scholars namely Ritika and Suparan from Department of Law, University of Jammu. Foreword of the book is given by Former Chief Justice of J&K High Court Justice Gita Mittal and she states that the book deals with many contemporary issues and topic hence it postulates good academic outcome. This would be a delightful read and useful in academic pursuits of students as well as practitioners in field.
