The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Bhaderwah recently organized a program in collaboration with the Sub District Hospital Bhaderwah to observe World Health Day. The event was held in the premises of Crescent Public School Bhaderwah and was attended by doctors, staff, and paramedical students.
The event was graced by the presence of several distinguished guests, including Block Medical Officer Bhaderwah Dr. Ashraf, Dr. Mohd Iqbal Rtd principal GDC Bhaderwah, and Advocate Mohd Majid Malik, Dr. Amir Malik, who were the guest of honor and resource persons on the occasion.
The resource person, Adv. Mohd Majid Malik, highlighted the significance of World Health Day and emphasized that good health is essential for a person’s survival. He stressed that health is the relationship between an individual and their body and that the right to health is a fundamental right guaranteed to every citizen of India under Article-21 of the Constitution of India.
Adv. Malik also emphasized the importance of conserving the environment, as the health system is entirely dependent on it. He urged everyone to start making changes to conserve the environment to ensure a healthy future for themselves and their communities.
The event was a huge success, and it helped raise awareness about the importance of good health and the need to protect the environment. The organizers hope that this program will inspire people to make positive changes to their lifestyle and contribute to building a healthier and more sustainable future.
