The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that it will reopen the registration window for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2023. The application portal will be reopened on Sunday, April 9, and will remain open until Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 11.59 pm. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website of CUET UG at cuet.samarth.ac.in.
The decision to reopen the registration process for CUET UG 2023 was shared by the University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman, Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, on his official Twitter handle. In his tweet, he stated that the decision was made following requests from several students.
The application process for CUET UG 2023 was initially closed on March 30, 2023. However, the correction window was opened on April 1 and closed on April 3, 2023.
It is important to note that CUET-UG is a new test for many students from colleges affiliated with Jammu University, and they have been demanding the reopening of the application portal. The decision to reopen the registration process is expected to provide an opportunity for more students to apply for the exam.
The announcement of the city of examination will be made available on April 30, 2023. The admit cards will be available to all appearing candidates in the second week of May 2023. The examination will be conducted from May 21, 2023, onwards. Interested candidates are advised to regularly visit the official website of NTA CUET for further updates.
CUET UG is a national level entrance test conducted for admission to undergraduate courses in various streams including Engineering, Law, Management, and Medicine, among others. The test is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the participating universities.
