BSF Vehicle Plunges into Gorge in Poonch, One Personnel Killed and Six Injured

Bh tragic accident occurred on Sunday in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district, as a Border Security Force (BSF) vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge in the Balnoi area of Mendhar. The accident resulted in the death of one BSF personnel and left six others injured.

According to a police official, the accident happened when the driver of the BSF vehicle lost control while navigating a blind curve on a hilly road. The injured personnel were immediately rescued and taken to a nearby hospital, where one of the critically injured BSF personnel succumbed to his injuries.

The condition of four of the injured personnel was reported to be critical, indicating the severity of the accident. It is yet another reminder of the perils that security personnel face while serving in such challenging and rugged terrain.
