A tragic incident has shaken the residents of Qazigund in South Kashmir, as a young man named Zakir Nabi Bhat, aged 24, lost his life while working in Saudi Arabia. The family of the deceased alleges that their son was murdered by a JCB driver from Assam, whom Zakir had complained about for harassing him.

Zakir Nabi Bhat, a JCB operator, had been working in Saudi Arabia for the past six months. According to his family, he had informed them about a fellow worker from Assam who had been continuously harassing him. The situation escalated a few days ago when an altercation took place between Zakir and the Assam youth.

Tragically, yesterday at the construction site where Zakir was employed, he was struck by a JCB. The family claims that upon investigation, it was revealed that the JCB driver involved in the incident was the same youth from Assam whom Zakir had accused of harassment.

Devastated by the loss of their son, the family has appealed to the Saudi government to arrange for the final rites to be performed in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, they have requested that the authorities ensure strict punishment for the alleged murderer. The family has been informed that the accused has been apprehended.

The family of Zakir Nabi Bhat is hopeful that the Saudi government will support their plea for justice and provide the necessary assistance during this difficult time. Their primary concern is to receive closure and ensure that their beloved son’s final journey is carried out with respect and dignity.
