In an ongoing operation in the Reasi area of Jammu division, an unidentified militant was killed, while an army soldier and a police officer sustained bullet injuries, according to officials.
Assistant Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu, Mukesh Kumar, confirmed that one militant had been killed during the encounter. Additionally, he reported that a police officer had been injured by gunfire in the ongoing operation.

According to a statement from Lieutenant Colonel Suneel Bartwal, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) for the Ministry of Defence in Jammu, an army soldier was also wounded during the operation, reports news agency GNS.
The encounter in Reasi began based on police intelligence indicating the presence of two militants in the area, as stated by ADGP Jammu Mukesh Singh. The ongoing gunfight is centered in Gali Sohab in the Tuli area of Chassana.
