In a commendable effort to promote sports and youth engagement in Zainakote, Mohammad Sahil Masoodi, a socio-political activist known for his community-oriented initiatives, has taken significant steps to enhance the local cricket infrastructure.
In collaboration with Mr. Tahir Ramzan Wagay, Vice President of the Cricket Association Zainakote, Mr. Masoodi has provided a professional-grade cricket mat to the Zainakote ground. This contribution aims to improve the playing conditions, allowing young cricket enthusiasts to hone their skills in a more professional and competitive environment.
As part of his continued support for youth sports, Mr. Masoodi has also donated cricket uniforms to two prominent local teams: Team Khushipora Cricket Club, recent winners of the Zainakote Champions Cup, and Team Zainakote, the home team of the area. These contributions aim to inspire young athletes, fostering their participation in sports and encouraging a spirit of healthy competition and teamwork.
